There are four NFL exhibition games on tap this weekend, beginning tonight with the Chicago Bears at Miami.

On Saturday, besides the Raiders and San Francisco 49ers at the Coliseum, the Denver Broncos play Detroit in the Hall of Fame game at Canton, Ohio. Before the game, Tex Schramm, John Hannah, Earl Campbell, Jan Stenerud and old-timer Stan Jones will be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.

On Sunday, Buffalo plays Philadelphia in the American Bowl at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Washington quarterback Mark Rypien’s one-year contract is reportedly in the $1.2-million range. He reported to training camp after a 10-day holdout. Rypien made $300,000 last season. . . . Quarterback Rich Gannon and defensive end Chris Doleman signed contracts with the Minnesota Vikings and reported to training camp. . . . The Dallas Cowboys signed former USC linebacker Jack Del Rio to a three-year contract worth about $1.8 million.
