Titans Triumph, and Take Away Pirated Video
Cal State Fullerton beat the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, 127-87, Thursday night in a Titan Gym exhibition game played before about 500 fans and one too many cameramen.
Late in the second half, Fullerton coaches discovered a person they didn’t recognize videotaping the game from the balcony. According to a Titan staff member, the person was a representative of the University of San Francisco, Fullerton’s opponent in Monday night’s season opener.
Because this person hadn’t gotten permission to tape the game, the videocassette was confiscated.
“Someone was filming when they weren’t supposed to be,” Titan Coach John Sneed said.
Most of the excitement on the court was generated by Fullerton guard Joe Small, who made seven of seven three-point shots and scored 34 points. Agee Ward added 24 points, Bruce Bowen had 22 points and point guard Aaron Sunderland finished with 15 assists.
