Caltrans Work Sites Scheduled

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

1. Los Angeles: Northbound off-ramp at Slauson Avenue; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; stenciling.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

2. South Gate: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Firestone Boulevard to the Los Angeles River; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; guardrail repair.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

3. East Los Angeles: Westbound No. 1 lane from Downey Road to Lorena Street; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday; glare screen repair.

4. Industry: Eastbound No. 2 lane of the Pomona Freeway (60) connector to the northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); 6:30 to 11 a.m. today; electrical repair.

5. Industry: Westbound No. 2 lane of the Pomona Freeway (60) connector to the southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); noon to 2 p.m. today; electrical repair.

6. Los Angeles: Eastbound off-ramp for Lorena Street and Whittier Boulevard; 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday; crack seal repair.

7. Los Angeles: Westbound No. 5 lane from Lorena Street to Whittier Boulevard, plus the Lorena Street on-ramp; 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Tuesday; guardrail repair.

8. Various cities: Eastbound and westbound No. 1 lanes between Indiana Street and Azusa Avenue; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; sweeping.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

9. Long Beach: Northbound and southbound on-ramps at Atlantic Avenue; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; guardrail repair.

10. Long Beach: Northbound No. 4 and 5 lanes at Temple Avenue; 9:30 a.m. to noon Friday; bridge repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

11. Lakewood: Southbound off-ramp at Carson Street; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday; landscaping.

12. Norwalk: Southbound No. 1 lane at the Alondra Boulevard undercrossing; 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; bridge repair.

13. Pico Rivera: Southbound alternating lanes at Rose Hills Road and the Beverly Boulevard off-ramp; 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday; stenciling.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

14. East Los Angeles: Northbound off-ramp at Indiana Avenue; 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday; guardrail repair.

15. Norwalk: Southbound No. 4 lane from Orr & Day Road to Imperial Highway, plus the Pioneer Boulevard and Imperial Highway off-ramp; 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

TERMINAL ISLAND FREEWAY (47)

16. Wilmington: Southbound No. 3 lane from Anaheim Street to the Commodore Schuyler F. Heim Drawbridge; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday; bridge repair.
