Share

The Ojai Festival will be staged in typical grand fashion this weekend, giving audience members a chance to experience some of the music world’s most sophisticated artists.

Under the shade of Libbey Park’s stately oak trees, the 46th annual event will feature the first collaboration between stage director Peter Sellars and conductor Pierre Boulez.

The festival schedule:

* 8:15 p.m. Friday, Libbey Bowl

The Los Angeles Philharmonic New Music Group will perform Stravinsky’s “L’Histoire de Soldat” and Schoenberg’s “Pierrot lunaire.”
