Chapman University has added nine full-time assistant professors to its faculty for the academic year that begins in September.

The new employees bring Chapman’s faculty roster to 108, an increase of five from the 1991-92 academic year, said university spokeswoman Ruth Wardwell.

Wardwell said the faculty members were hired even though administrators expect enrollment at the school to remain steady at about 2,200 undergraduate and graduate students.
