Knee Injury Sidelines Gabriel

Notre Dame High defensive end Brandon Gabriel, one of the top prep defensive linemen in the area, will miss the Knights’ game Friday against Glendale because of a knee injury suffered in practice Tuesday.

Gabriel underwent a magnetic resonance imaging exam Wednesday. Coach Kevin Rooney said the senior’s playing status for the remainder of the season will be determined Friday afternoon.
