Key returners: John Bamford, Jr., fullback, plays for the under-17 U.S. national team; Mike Doria, Jr., midfielder; Josh Keller, Sr., midfielder, All-Southern Section selection; Eric Lopp, Sr., fullback, second-team All-Angelus League; Sean Novak, Sr., sweeper, second-team All-Angelus League; Matt Reis, Sr., goalkeeper, seven shutouts last season; Danny Sparks, Sr., midfielder.

Key newcomer: Seth George, So., midfielder, led junior varsity in scoring last season.

Outlook: The Eagles move to the Sea View League this season. Reiss is a three-year starter who allowed only 1.3 goals per match a year ago. “As long as we don’t give up a goal, we won’t lose,” Bauer said. But the Eagles won’t win without some offense. Look for the midfielders to shoulder most of the scoring burden. Keller is a standout; George only needs time to become one.
