Harry Bluestone, 85, a familiar figure on the Los Angeles musical scene for decades and a violinist who played with the Dorsey brothers, Bix Beiderbeck, Bunny Berigan and Red Nichols bands. As a teen-ager, he traveled to Paris with a small jazz group to back up expatriate singer Josephine Baker. He came to Los Angeles in the late 1930s and, while performing with various groups around the city, began working with radio and motion picture orchestras. He continued to record with studio groups until retiring five years ago. In Studio City on Tuesday.
