If it’s true that country music is more popular than ever, thanks in part to a new wave of female vocalists, then Sunday’s concert at Library Park in El Segundo should be standing-room-only. The reason: The

featured band is “The Mustangs,” a four-piece call-female group that puts on an upbeat, progressive country show.

The concert is the second this year in a summer-long program sponsored by the El Segundo Recreation and Parks Department. The series, which runs through August, will also present classical, Dixieland, salsa and jazz productions.
