Orange County public television station KOCE Channel 50 raised $179,000 with its August pledge drive, besting last summer’s tally by about $8,000. The dollar total represents 2,664 pledges in new memberships and gifts. Programs shown during the 10-day drive, which ended Sunday, included a concert special starring Frank Sinatra, Liza Minelli and Sammy Davis Jr., episodes of the British comedy series “Fawlty Towers” and reruns of “The Lawrence Welk Show.”
