COLLEGE SIGNINGS : Ex-Cougar Kostoff Signs to Play Basketball at SCC
Guard Chris Kostoff has signed to play basketball at Southern California College, the school said Thursday.
Kostoff, a graduate of Capistrano Valley, played the 1992-93 season for Irvine Valley and finished 12th in the state in scoring with a 22.5-point average. While at Capistrano Valley, he was All-Southern Section in 1990. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

Michelle Rueter, a pitcher at Brethren Christian, has signed a letter of intent to play softball with Grace College of Winona Lake, Ind., an NAIA school.
Rueter was 5-5 last year with a 1.30 earned-run average with 119 strikeouts in 89 2/3 innings.
