Arcangues, ‘North Get High Weights for Cup

Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Arcangues and The Wicked North were assigned 122 pounds for next Saturday’s $750,000 Hollywood Gold Cup.

Bien Bien, considered a possible starter, was assigned 121, four more than Slew Of Damascus.

Del Mar Dennis, who would be coupled in the betting with Bien Bien if both started, would carry 116, the same as Californian runner-up Kingdom Found and turf specialist Fanmore, who is considered a possible starter by trainer Bobby Frankel. The only other nominee and the only other horse weighted was Hill Pass (114).
