Francisco Marcos, commissioner of the U.S. Interregional Soccer League and liaison for the Brazilian team here, has a 3-year-old with six names.

To honor his family and his wife, Marcos named his son Julian Marcos Clem Ward Isidoro Bicho. The first two “are his stage name,” said Marcos, a native Brazilian who lives in Dallas. “His passport has them all.

“He’s Texan, Portuguese and American. He will be the first guy eligible to play for three countries, because by the time he grows up, Texas will be a republic.”
