THOUSAND OAKS : Clues to Series of Car Break-Ins Sought
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for information about a rash of car break-ins in the north part of Thousand Oaks.
Detectives said the suspects smashed the windows of 10 cars parked along Shady Brook Drive, Summer Cloud Drive, Shelter Wood Court, Northpark Street and Morningside Drive early on May 11, 12 and 13.
The thieves stole cellular phones, wallets and credit cards. The thefts were similar to a series of car break-ins last month in the Octagon housing tract of Thousand Oaks.
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 494-TALK. Callers may remain anonymous.
