Alternates Sought for Senior Citizens Panel
The city is seeking applicants to serve as alternates on the Senior Citizens Commission, an advisory agency for the City Council.
Alternates attend all commission meetings, but they do not vote. They are available to fill vacancies as regular commission members resign or complete their terms.
Four alternate positions are open, City Manager Darrell Essex said. Applicants must be city residents and registered voters, and they must be able to attend Senior Citizens Commission meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 3 p.m.
