Royal Flush in 19-7 Success
Chris Richeson scored five of his six goals in the first half and Royal High defeated Arroyo Grande, 19-7, in a quarterfinal game of the Southern Section Division IV playoffs Wednesday at Rancho Simi Community Pool.
David Radka scored three goals and Garrett Herzer had nine saves for the second-seeded Highlanders, who will play Santa Barbara in the semifinals Saturday.
Richeson, along with most of the Highlander starters, was taken out after his sixth goal early in the third quarter.
Cabrillo 21, Buena 4--Josh Rosenberg, Matt Hoover, Garett Brown and Jesse Jacobs scored for the Bulldogs (16-11) in a losing effort in a Division IV quarterfinal at Cuesta College.
Top-seeded Cabrillo (24-2) will play Agoura in a semifinal Saturday.
