Two stakes starters equaled two stakes victories for the Dollase family Sunday at Hollywood Park.

About an hour after 2-1 favorite Walk In Time, trained by Craig Dollase, won the $71,850 Bel’s Starlet Stakes, Fantastic Fellow, trained by Craig’s father, Wally, shattered the course record for 1 1/16 miles on turf with a devastating win in the $107,900 Inglewood Handicap.

Both winners were ridden by Corey Nakatani, married to the former Michele Dollase, daughter of Wally and sister of Craig.

In winning for the second time in as many starts since joining the Dollase barn, Fantastic Fellow sat third early, moved to the lead along the inside approaching the stretch and kicked away to win by 3 1/2 lengths in 1:38 3/5. Via Lombardia was second, 5 1/2 lengths in front of Sharekann.

The final time shaved a fifth of a second off the record set by Clever Song on April 23, 1986.

“He’s one of those horses you get off and go, ‘Wow, how good is he?’ ” said Nakatani, who also won the 10th race on 2-1 favorite Pipers Glen for Craig Dollase.

“He was nice and relaxed following the pacesetters and as soon as I cut for home, I let him do the running and it was impressive. It’s nice to be on a horse who’s got the ability to do those kinds of things.”

Rajpoute, the 7-10 favorite on the strength of an easy allowance victory at Santa Anita last month, finished last under jockey Chris McCarron. “I don’t think he wants it [the turf] hard like it was today,” McCarron said. “He was trying to [lug] out with me and he didn’t do that at all in his last race.”

A $25,000 yearling buy, Walk In Time won for the fifth time in 14 starts in the Bel’s Starlet, beating Fleeting Image by three-quarters of a length in 1:34 for the mile on grass.
