Monday Night Spotlight Shouldn’t Be on This

I was unfortunate enough to catch the end of Monday night’s game between the Broncos and Chiefs in which Derrick Thomas provided us with yet another example of what sports should not represent, and the broadcast crew was quick to point this out.

However, I found Shannon Sharpe’s taunting equally troubling, and for the TV crew to give his display air time was no less damaging than the acts committed by Thomas. What kind of examples are we setting?
