Bakery’s Just Deserts

One of the jewels among the local music venues for both the performer and the audience was missing from Heidi Siegmund Cuda’s Calendar Weekend cover story (“Absolute Music,” Aug. 27). It is the Jazz Bakery in the Helms Bakery complex.

Here is a venue with a program aimed completely at providing the best environment for the artists and customers. No smoking, no blenders in the background or waiters disrupting your attention, just comfortable concert-type seating in an intimate room.
