Two Promoted to Key Disney R&D; Positions

* Don Goodman has been promoted to executive vice president of Walt Disney Imagineering, the Burbank company’s research and development arm, and Eric Haseltine has been promoted to executive vice president of research and development. They replace two of several key Imagineering executives who recently left the company for tech-related start-ups. Goodman will be responsible for daily management of Walt Disney Imagineering and will oversee the design and development of theme parks and resorts.

Haseltine, who has been senior vice president and chief scientist of research and development, will lead all of Disney’s R&D; activities.

* Denis Cullumber has been named president of Encino-based Larwin Co. and general manager of the home and condominium builder’s Southern California division. Cullumber is a former Orange County division president of Greystone Homes.

* David Benwell, a principal at Rader Reinfrank & Co., has been appointed chief financial officer of TelePacific Communications, a Los Angeles-based provider of phone and high-speed Internet-access services.
