Sheriff’s Office Seeks OK of Computer Funds
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is seeking approval for a $997,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Justice that would help pay for various upgrades in law enforcement technology.
The Board of Supervisors will decide Tuesday whether to approve the grant proposal, which would upgrade the Sheriff’s Department computer equipment and purchase new equipment for community policing programs.
