Animal Rescue Group Seeks Homes for Rabbits
An organization involved in the April 18 seizure of hundreds of allegedly mistreated rabbits at a private home on the Westside is offering the animals for adoption, a spokesman said Wednesday.
The PetSave Foundation, a nonprofit animal rescue group based in Torrance, can be contacted on the web at www.rabbit911.com or by telephone at (310) 203-1456.
Spokesman William Coleman said those adopting rabbits must agree to keep them mainly inside homes, with outdoor exercise confined to areas free of predators.
The woman who was renting the home where the rabbits were found is facing misdemeanor charges.
