Update -- Orlando is coming off a 111-85 victory over Golden State on Friday night, but before that game the Magic had lost three in a row. Tracy McGrady is leading the NBA in scoring with a 30.5-point average. Grant Hill, who is nursing a sore left ankle but is expected to play, is averaging 15.9 points. The Magic beat the Lakers, 112-102, on Nov. 27. In that game, McGrady had 38 points, nine assists, six rebounds and two steals. The Lakers have defeated the Magic in seven of the last eight games in Los Angeles. But then the Lakers hadn’t lost a home game to the Hornets in nearly five years before Friday night.
