Purse: $4.8 million. Winner’s share: $864,000.

Television: The Golf Channel (today-Friday, 1-3:30 p.m.), Fox Sports Net (today-Friday, 1-3:30 p.m.) and Channel 2 (Saturday-Sunday, noon-3 p.m.).

Last year: Robert Damron won his first tour title.

Last week: K.J. Choi became the first South Korean winner in PGA Tour history, a four-stroke victory in the Compaq Classic.

LPGA TOUR

Aerus Electrolux USA Championship

When: Today-Sunday.

Where: Legends Club of Tennessee, Ironhorse Course (6,479 yards, par 72), Franklin, Tenn.

Purse: $800,000. Winner’s share: $120,000.

Television: ESPN (Friday-Saturday, noon-2 p.m.; Sunday, 1-3 p.m.).

Last year: Juli Inkster shot a seven-under 65 to hold off Catriona Matthew by a stroke. Annika Sorenstam finished third.

Last week: Inkster won the rain-shortened Chick-fil-A Charity Championship, closing with a six-under 66 for a two-stroke victory over Kelly Robbins. Inkster has 27 career victories.

SENIOR PGA TOUR

TD Waterhouse Championship

When: Friday-Sunday.

Where: Tiffany Greens Golf Club (6,888 yards, par 72), Kansas City, Mo.

Purse: $1.6 million. Winner’s share: $240,000.

Television: PAX (Friday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.) and CNBC (Saturday-Sunday, 2:30-4:30 p.m.).

Last year: Ed Dougherty matched the tour’s 54-hole record of 22 under, shooting 62-66-66 for an eight-stroke victory.

Last week: Sammy Rachels’ first victory this year came on a 10-foot birdie putt on the second hole of a playoff with Dana Quigley in the Bruno’s Memorial Classic.
