Southern California Has Its Priorities in Order
Re “The Difference Between North and South Is Green,” Nov. 23:
Columnist James F. Grier understates the complexity of this modern syndrome whereby our country seems to be divided into two distinct groups, not north and south parts of any state, but one group that gives priority to snails, birds, coyotes and vast forests and another group that gives the critical priority to families of human beings.
In Southern California, obviously we implement the human priority. That’s why millions more families are supported here.
Who cares whether they belong to country clubs or not.
