Freshman Willis to Ask for Release
USC freshman forward Emanuel Willis will ask for his release today with the intent to transfer to a school closer to his home in Mendenhall, Miss., a source at the school said.
Willis, who became increasingly homesick, fell out of the Trojan rotation and did not play in two of the Trojans’ last three games.
