Motorist Is Fatally Shot by Another Driver

A 25-year-old man in an SUV with his wife and 5-year-old stepdaughter was fatally shot Saturday afternoon by another motorist in the Monterey Hills area, Los Angeles police said.
Jose Pena was driving east on Huntington Drive near Van Horne Avenue about 12:10 p.m. when a gunman in a gray or blue pickup fired into his vehicle, said Officer Don Cox.
His wife and her child were uninjured, he said.
