Barry’s Back, and so Is His Fan Club

Why would any fan of any sport living in Los Angeles want to see “Mr. Steroids” on the top of the sports page because he hit a double? If you just have to talk about this nut job, please bury the story in the back pages.

Barry Bonds’ ego went out of control years and years ago -- you do not have feed it any more front-page stories.

For those of you who don’t think steroids matter, all you had to do was witness where Barry Bonds’ fly balls reached Monday. On steroids, the balls he hit flew into the bay. Off steroids, his fly balls merely reached the outfield wall or the outfielders’ gloves. Hmmm....
