Woman’s death may be homicide
The death of a 90-year-old woman whose body was found by firefighters responding to a blaze in her Altadena home Thursday morning is being investigated as a homicide, authorities said.
Los Angeles County firefighters were called to a fire in the 3200 block of North Lincoln Avenue about 10 a.m., a spokesman said.
They found the woman’s body in the kitchen, but her injuries appeared to be unrelated to the fire, said a department spokesman.
