at San Francisco 6, Atlanta 3: Randy Johnson (4-4) gave up one run and three hits in six innings to earn his 299th victory. The 45-year-old left-hander struck out five to run his total to 4,843, second most all-time.
St. Louis 3, at Milwaukee 2: Todd Wellemeyer (5-4) and the Cardinals bullpen silenced the Brewers, who struck out 27 times in the three-game series.
at New York 7, Washington 4: Daniel Murphy hit a tiebreaking home run to help out Johan Santana (7-2), who struck out 11 but walked six, one shy of his career high.
Florida 6, at Philadelphia 2: Dan Uggla and Cody Ross each hit a home run to back up Burke Badenhop (3-2), who made his first start of the season.
San Diego 8, at Arizona 5: Adrian Gonzalez hit his major league-leading 18th home run to lead the Padres to their 11th victory in 12 games.
at Cincinnati 6, Houston 1: Jay Bruce hit two home runs to help send the Astros to their seventh loss in a row.
Dodgers 8, at Colorado 6: The Dodgers hung on for a three-game sweep.
