Jane Lynch is headed for divorce court.

Lynch and wife Lara Embry, who married in Sunderland, Mass., on Memorial Day in 2010, have decided to split up, the “Glee” actress told People on Monday.

“This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter,” she said in a statement to the mag.

The couple — Embry is a psychologist — met in 2009 at a fundraiser and Lynch spilled word of their engagement on the Golden Globes red carpet in April 2010. Turns out they’d been promised to each other since the previous November.

Though the wedding took place in Massachusetts, where gay marriage is legal, it’ll most likely be dissolved in California, where the two reside, TMZ said. California, while not allowing same-sex marriage, recognizes such unions from states that allow them.

California is also, the website noted, a community property state — and the women have no prenup, sources said. With luck, things will be settled amicably.

Though she understandably had no comment on Twitter about the split, she wrote Sunday night, “Are you watching these #tonyawards? Amazaballs!!!” And no wonder. The “Annie: The Musical” actress was among those performing at the awards.
