Man found dead inside Beverly Hills elevator shaft
A man believed to have been a repairman was found dead Thursday inside a Beverly Hills apartment elevator shaft, authorities said.
The man was found on top of the elevator about 8:50 p.m. in the 400 block of South Rexford Drive, said Sgt. Giovani Trejo.
He was wearing an elevator service uniform.
The man, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, Trejo said.
The Division of Occupational Safety and Health was been notified in case the man died in an industrial accident.
