Repairman found dead in elevator shaft in Beverly Hills is identified
A man found dead inside an elevator shaft at a Beverly Hills apartment complex has been identified as a 31-year-old repairman.
Frank Barille was found dead on top of an elevator in the complex in the 400 block of South Rexford Drive about 8:50 p.m., authorities said. He was wearing an elevator service uniform.
Beverly Hills police are investigating the death, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office said.
The state Division of Occupational Safety and Health was notified in case the man’s death is determined to have been the result of a workplace accident.
