DWP water main break floods Ventura Boulevard in Studio City
Utility crews were working Saturday night to repair a water main break near of Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, officials said.
A leak in a 30-inch pipe near 12900 W. Ventura Blvd. was flooding the street, said Jason Stinnett, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
The rupture was reported at 7:22 p.m., Stinnett said. No utility services were being affected, he said.
Margaret Stewart, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Fire Department, said traffic was still moving through the area. No businesses had been affected by the flooding, she said.
