Body of woman found inside burned-out car on 110 Freeway
A woman was found dead inside a burned-out car on the 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles late Sunday night, authorities said.
California Highway Patrol cars and firefighters responded at about 10:30 p.m. to a report of a car fire on the northbound 110 Freeway near Vernon Avenue, according to the CHP.
Arriving on the scene, they found a vehicle blocking the onramp and discovered the body of the woman inside.
The woman was not immediately identified, and the incident remains under investigation, officials said.
