San Luis Obispo man indicted on child porn charges

Share

A San Luis Obispo man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on three counts related to possession and distribution of child pornography.

Bruce Klickstein, 59, was arrested last week by FBI special agents, and after a brief court appearance Thursday, was released to home detention pending a hearing Aug. 6.

Klickstein was identified as a possible suspect after an undercover investigation by Arroyo Grande police in 2012. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the man’s home and discovered at least one computer containing what authorities allege is child pornography.

A grand jury subsequently indicted Klickstein for possession, distribution and receipt of child pornography, and he faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted on all charges. He is charged with two distribution counts and one of possession.
