Man flees Westminster car crash that kills girl, police say
Westminster police late Thursday were looking for a man suspected of fleeing after slamming his car into a minivan, killing a girl and injuring two others.
The girl was believed to be around 11 years old, Westminster police said.
One of those injured was believed to be her mother. She and the other victim were being treated at an Orange County hospital. There were no immediate details on their conditions.
“It’s now a murder investigation,” Officer Cameron Knauerhaze of the Westminster Police Department told KABC TV Channel 7.
