Suspect killed in officer-involved shooting in Tujunga

Los Angeles police shot and killed a suspect in Tujunga on Friday afternoon while investigating a reported disturbance, authorities said

The shooting occurred about 3:35 p.m. in a residential neighborhood in the 6400 block of Olcott Street when officers encountered the suspect, according to police.

The name of the suspect and details about the incident were not available Friday evening. Police said they are investigating the shooting, including conflicting accounts from witnesses.

No officers were injured, police said.
