Girls’ basketball: Mater Dei’s Jayda Adams named to USA 16U national team
Jayda Adams from Santa Ana Mater Dei has been selected to the 12-team roster of the USA women’s basketball U16 national team.
The team will represent the United States at the FIBA Americas U16 championships. The tournament will be played Jun 24-28 in Mexico.
Adams is the younger sister of former Mater Dei standout Jordan Adams, a 2009 U16 medalist.
She’s a 5-foot-11 junior.
