No. 15 Encino Crespi (2-0) vs. No. 2 Anaheim Servite (2-0) at Cerritos College, 7:30 p.m., FS West (tape delayed, 8 p.m.) -- Crespi Coach Jeremiah Ross has won both meetings against his former mentor, Troy Thomas, who coached the Celts in from 2001-04 before moving to Servite. But this could be Thomas’ strongest group. Quarterback Cody Fajardo has helped engineer one-sided victories against Long Beach Poly and Clovis West in which the Servite defense has given up an average of 10 points. No. 10 Gardena Serra (2-0) at No. 18 Carson (2-0), 7 p.m. -- Serra’s Robert Woods, George Farmer and Los Alamitos transfer Paul Richardson Jr. have combined for seven touchdown receptions in two games. Quarterback Conner Preston, a transfer from Palisades, has passed for eight touchdowns with no interceptions. Carson’s running back Dion Willis and quarterback Justin Alo have led the Colts to intersectional victories against Santa Ana Mater Dei and Fontana Miller. The pick: Serra.

No. 13 Woodland Hills Taft (1-0) at No. 17 Sherman Oaks Notre Dame (1-1), 7:30 p.m. -- Almost everything that could go wrong for Notre Dame did last week during a 27-14 loss to Moorpark. “You either have to fix the things that didn’t go well or have it again, so we’re going to do our best to get things fixed and play better,” said Notre Dame Coach Kevin Rooney. That will be a challenge against Taft, which is led by a pair of three-year starters in running back D.J. Morgan and quarterback Antoine Goodall. The pick: Notre Dame.
