The NFL isn’t one quarter of one game old, and already there are notable injuries to two key players.

Pittsburgh Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey was carted off the field against Tennessee, after a teammate accidentally dived into his knee. That could be a huge setback for the Steelers.

The other injury, to the thumb of Detroit running back Reggie Bush, looked far less serious but painful nonetheless.

Bush dropped a pass on third down, then motioned to his gloved left hand. He walked to the sideline, and it appeared as if trainers pulled his thumb back into position. He hopped with pain as they did.

It looks as if Bush didn’t miss any time.
