National signing day: UCLA gets defensive end Jacob Tuioti-Mariner
Jacob Tuioti-Mariner, a defensive end from Bellflower St. John Bosco High, has signed a letter of intent with UCLA.
Tuioti-Mariner, who is 6 feet 3, 255 pounds, has the potential to be a quality pass rusher, scouts say. He had 12 sacks in helping St. John Bosco to a 16-0 record as a senior.
Wisconsin was among the schools that had offered Tuioti-Mariner a scholarship.
