Watch Grigor Dimitrov help ailing ball girl struggling with the heat

You know a ball girl or ball boy has done a good job during a tennis match when you don’t notice them. Lucky for one ball girl on Sunday, Grigor Dimitrov did notice her.

Dimitrov, ranked 16th in the world, was competing in a first-set tiebreaker against Kei Nishikori at the Sony Open in Miami with temperature nearing 100 degrees and heavy humidity. Between points, he asked for a towel, but the ball girl did not respond. He asked again and the ball girl seemed to struggle to get a towel and hand it to him.

Sensing she was struggling with the heat, Dimitrov gently escorted her off the court, holding her hand all the while, and made sure she received some medical attention.
