UCLA Coach Jim Mora throws media out after camera crew incident
UCLA football coach Jim Mora threw the media out of practice Wednesday morning over television camera crews wandering into restricted areas.
The incident was believed to have occurred just as practice was starting. The Los Angeles Times, per a new policy, does not attend practices at UCLA and USC. People present said that camera crews were setting up on the field, which apparently angered Mora.
Sports information department employees were also tossed out of practice.
Mora had the gate locked. Linebacker Dalton Hilliard, receiver Jerry Rice Jr. and receiver Darius Bell -- all late-arriving players -- had to wait for the gate to be unlocked.
