What time does the Super Bowl start?
OK, all you Super Bowl party planners, here is your key bit of info. Kickoff for Sunday’s game between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots is scheduled for 3:38 p.m. PT.
This year the game will be televised on NBC, with coverage beginning at 9 a.m. PT. Yes, six hours of pre-game coverage.
Also, NBC will stream its coverage — including pregame programming and the halftime show — free online.
The Super Bowl is being played in Glendale, Ariz., home of the Arizona Cardinals.
This will be Super Bowl XLIX, which is Super Bowl 49 for you non-Romans out there.
