Carrie Underwood has revealed something at the Country Music Assn. Awards that fans have been wondering since she announced her pregnancy: She’s having a boy!

Underwood let the information slip onstage while she and fellow country crooner Brad Paisley hosted the show Wednesday night.

The 31-year-old and her hockey-player husband Mike Fisher, 34, used a cute dog pic to announce on Labor Day they were expecting their first child. The baby is due in the spring.

Being pregnant doesn’t seem to have slowed her down. Her CMA Awards gig was the seventh time she’s co-hosted with Paisley. She arrived at the Nashville event showing off her slightly wider waistline in a nude beaded gown and later, on top of her hosting duties, performed her new single, “Something in the Water.”

And just before the show, she tweeted photos of some treats she’d received: “Flowers, baby goodies & non-alcoholic wine (grape juice) from my best friend @IveyCake [Ivey Childers] & best co-host @BradPaisley.” Childers made the wedding cake -- cupcakes, actually -- and served as a bridesmaid when Underwood and Fisher tied the knot in 2010.

In late September, it seemed as if the six-time Grammy winner was having a little trouble wrapping her head around the way her life would change.

“It’s still kinda weird, to be honest,” Underwood admitted on the “Today” show. “Sometimes I’ll be with my husband, and it’s like, I’m gonna be a mom. You’re gonna be a dad. Is this real life?”

The Season 4 winner of “American Idol” told CMT a few weeks ago that she and Fisher, who plays center for the NHL’s Nashville Predators, were waiting to do major baby-related shopping “until we find out if it’s gonna be a boy or a girl. We haven’t really done anything with the room or anything.”

Now they can really get going.

On to the next mystery: What will the boy be named? Fisher tweeted a thought in September. “We haven’t picked names yet but it’s looking like Fly is gonna fly. #boyorgirl #flyfisher,” he said.

We’ll see whether that sticks. Onstage at the CMA Awards, Paisley suggested going with the name Garth.
