Christina Milian and music executive Jas Prince are a couple no more: They have called off their engagement.
"The Voice" mentor and Prince split up within the last few weeks, Milian's rep told the Los Angeles Times on Friday, declining to elaborate on what caused the breakup.
The singer reportedly moved her things out of their shared home in Los Angeles on Thursday, Us Weekly said.
Reports of Milian's engagement to the Rap-A-Lot Records chief exec surfaced in September, but the couple had reportedly been engaged before May 2013, People said. They had been linked since 2010.
About a week ago, the 32-year-old Milian posted a photo of an inspirational note on her Instagram urging followers to "turn your life around and do all the things that make you happy. It's your life to live."
"There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it," the note said. "Surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living."
As news of the split broke Friday, the "Dancing With the Stars" alum continued to post somewhat personal messages on Facebook.
"Thank The Lord! #Seriously #MyWorld," she wrote.
The "AM to PM" singer started dating Prince soon after her split from producer The-Dream, who is Violet's father. The couple called it quits within a year of marrying.
They separated while Milian was pregnant, claiming that their efforts as a couple had been "unsuccessful," but photos of the producer frolicking on a beach with his assistant suggested infidelity.
