“Feeling MUCH better,” she wrote Wednesday. “Thanks for all the prayers & well wishes..same to you. Never appreciated vacation more. XO.”

On Tuesday, Roberts, who underwent surgery to remove breast cancer in 2007, announced that she was planning to leave in the middle of the show because she wasn’t feeling well.

“Well, a full disclosure here, I’m not feeling too well,” Roberts said. “In fact I’m going to leave and let you all do the rest of the program on your own. I’m going to take a little time off, just to get some vacay … .”

Roberts had planned to go on medical leave sometime in August in order to have a bone marrow transplant to combat MDS, a blood and bone marrow disorder she was diagnosed with in June.

On the program, Roberts mentioned several fill-in co-hosts who will appear during her leave alongside George Stephanopoulos. Among them are Barbara Walters, Diane Sawyer, Katie Couric, Kelly Ripa and the co-hosts of “The View.”
