AFC notes: Austin Davis set to become 24th QB to start a for the Browns since 1999

Baltimore: The Ravens have sacked Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill 12 times in two games. Baltimore’s seven losses have come by a combined 32 points.

Buffalo: The Bills are 0-6 in games in which their quarterback attempts 30 passes. Receiver Sammy Watkins had six catches for 158 yards last week against the Chiefs.

Cincinnati: With a win, Andy Dalton will have the most road victories by a quarterback (23) in his first five seasons going back to 1970. He’s 45-29-1 in the regular season.

Cleveland: Austin Davis is set to become the 24th quarterback to start for the Browns since 1999, with Johnny Manziel serving as his primary backup.

Denver: Linebacker DeMarcus Ware (back) has been ruled out for the fourth consecutive game. He’s expected to be available next week against the Raiders.

Houston: The Texans have won three straight games against the Bills. End J.J. Watt intercepted a pass and returned it 80 yards for a score in their last meeting.

Indianapolis: Matt Hasselbeck, 40, has won four straight starts in place of Andrew Luck (kidney). No quarterback 40 or older has won five in a row.

Jacksonville: Tight end Julius Thomas had a season-high nine grabs for 116 yards last week. T.J. Yeldon’s 621 yards rushing rank third among NFL rookies.

Kansas City: Defensive lineman Allen Bailey could make his return after missing two games because of a calf injury. He has 4.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.

Miami: The Dolphins have trailed by double figures in each of the last five games. Miami throws 67% of the time, the highest rate in the league.

New England: In the regular season, Tom Brady has never lost to eight NFL teams; that includes the Eagles, against whom he’s 4-0, with a Super Bowl win.

N.Y. Jets: Brandon Marshall needs 69 yards receiving to reach 1,000 for the eighth time in nine seasons. Eric Decker has eight touchdown catches.

Oakland: The Raiders have allowed 14 sacks, tied for fewest in the league. Corner David Amerson had six passes defended last week and is tied for the most with 19.

Pittsburgh: Linebacker Bud Dupree is tied for the most sacks (four) by a rookie. The Steelers have allowed 300 or more yards passing in four straight games.

San Diego: Rookie running back Melvin Gordon is still looking for his first rushing score. Coach Mike McCoy is 1-4 vs. Denver, where he was on staff from 2009-12.

Tennessee: The Titans have 11 consecutive home losses. Running back Antonio Andrews has had 80 or more yards from scrimmage in three of the last five games.
