Boys’ basketball: Gold Coast League tournament begins Saturday

The Gold Coast League begins its boys’ basketball tournament on Saturday.

First-round games: No. 8 Paraclete at No. 1 Sierra Canyon, 2 p.m.; No. 5 Brentwood at No. 4 Viewpoint, 5 p.m.; No. 6 McAuliffe at No. 3 Windward, 5 p.m.; No. 7 Crossroads at No. 2 Campbell Hall, 2 p.m.

Quarterfinals will be Tuesday, semifinals Thursday and the championship game will be next Friday at Crossroads at 5:30 p.m. The girls’ final will be at 7:30 p.m.

In the girls’ tournament, No. 1 Windward has a bye and will play the winner of No. 5 Brentwood vs. No. 4 Paraclete. No. 2 Sierra Canyon plays No. 7 Campbell Hall at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. No. 3 Viewpoint plays host to No. 6 Crossroads.
